Muscat: The delegation of the National University of Singapore (NUS) visited Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) on Monday. The delegation consists of Ong Chee Siong, Deputy Director of the Continuing Education Center and Wai Yahir, Executive Director of the Center. The delegation was received Dr Zahran bin Salim al Salty, Director of the Center for Community Service and Continuing Education at the University, during which he gave a detailed explanation on the activities and services of the Center and the programs and training courses implemented by the Center for a number of governmental and private institutions.

During the meeting, they discussed means of cooperation between the two sides and discussed issues of common concern.

Dr Zahran al Salty said that these meetings are important for exchanging experiences and information and enhancing ways of joint action, pointing out the University’s keenness to extend bridges of cooperation in various fields with a number of prestigious universities and benefiting from regional and international best practices. The Department of Continuing Education at the Community Service and Continuing Education Center has launched a new package of training courses.
