Ibri - Ibri College of Applied Sciences (ICAS) today celebrated the graduation of students of applied disciplines for the academic year 2018 under the patronage of Ali bin Khalfan al-Jabri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information in the presence of Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed al-Sarmi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Sheikh Saif bin Hemyar Al Malik al- Shuhi, Governor of A'Dhahirah.

The total number of graduates in this year was 224 students, of which 197 were bachelor graduates and 27 diploma graduates, in six disciplines: Digital Design, Graphic Design, IT Security, Software Development, Networks and Data Management.

Dr. Rashid bin Said al-Hinai, ICAS Dean delivered a speech in which he said that ICAS is moving forward to enhance the successes achieved over the past years.  He pointed out that the College currently offers three applied programs: Information Technology, Design and Business Administration and they are all important milestones in the process of sustainable development. He added that they are a translation of the strategic plan of the Colleges of Applied Sciences which takes into account the achievement of quality standards, especially as other institutions of higher education in the Sultanate are waiting for the institutional assessment.

At the end of the ceremony, Ali bin Khalfan al-Jabri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information distributed gifts to the first graduates and handed over certificates to the graduates.
