Muscat: Muscat University has announced scholarship provision for all programmes in the coming academic year 2019/2020. This latest scholarship development is aimed at widening student access across all its career focused degrees.

The value of Muscat University scholarships will be up to 40% for undergraduate programmes and 25% for postgraduate programmes.

This offers an affordable route for academically strong students to the dual degrees awarded by Muscat University with its UK partners Aston University and Cranfield University. The scholarships will support both academic objectives and diversity in the student body, both essential components of a thriving university.

“We are delighted to announce our scholarships to the wider community, from recent school leavers to aspiring professionals. The scholarships offered provide further opportunity to engage in our academic programmes, highly regarded not just for their teaching excellence, but also for developing students’ abilities in innovation and leadership.” said Prof Yusra Mouzughi Vice-Chancellor of Muscat University.

Applications for scholarships are only considered for those students who have successfully completed the application process, each one dealt with on a case by case basis by the Scholarship Committee of the University. The Scholarship Committee considers merit-based evidence indicative of a strong and relevant academic background.

Applicants may start the application process for a scholarship once they are in receipt of a conditional offer from Muscat University. Instructions are given to all conditional offer holders and the deadline for submitting your scholarship application form is August 15, 2019.
